NOTES ON E-MAILING ATTACHMENTS

Send a File Attached to an E-mail:
   
1. Create a new message.
    2. Click the Attach button.
    3. Find and highlight the desired file in the Insert Attachment dialog.
          You can highlight and attach multiple files at once by holding down the Ctrl key while you click on them with the mouse.
    4. Click Attach.

Sending Multiple Files with Ease and Elegance

If you want to send more than one file with an e-mail, you can also pack them neatly into one ZIP archive.
    1. Create a new file folder on your desk top and copy the desired files into the folder.
    2. Right click on the new folder,  then left click on  "Send To," and  "Compressed (zipped) Folder"
    3. Attach the resulting zip file to your e-mail message.

Insert an Image In-line in an E-mail:

    1. Create a new message using HTML formatting in Outlook Express.
    2. Put the cursor where you want to include the image in the body of your message.
    3. Select "Insert Image" from the Menu. Bar
    4. Click Browse to locate and select the image on your disk.
    5. Click OK to insert the image.
    6. Select Format from the message's menu and make sure Send Pictures with Message is checked.

Save an Embedded Image from an E-mail

    1. Click on the image with the right mouse button.
    2. Select "Save Image as"  from the Menu.
    3. Choose a location to save the image file.
    4 Click Save.
